Anarchist Hostilities to Green Capitalism Volume 1
This small collection is about those who have identified the problem of green capitalism, their technologies and took action against them. Reminding the world what hostility looks like, this collection, spanning the territories occupied by Germany, Sweden, Italy, Chile and the United States, is far from complete (hence “Volume 1”), and only represents a sample of actions and analysis taken by anarchists and autonomists. These texts reproduced inside demonstrate the refusal of green capitalism, but also the popular political division between fossil fuels and so-called renewable energy nurtured by politicians, company public relations and theorists of the narrow minded “fossil capital.”
This collection is a joint publishing venture between Active Distribution and Rupture Press.

Can Degrowth Struggle? Anarchist Engagement with Degrowth
Over the last two decades the degrowth movement has made an impressive come-back. By challenging the hegemonic formulations of neoliberal economic policy – which is still, somehow, being taught in universities and earning people Nobel prices – degrowth has managed to attack the established economic thinking by demanding greater scholarly rigor and questioning the subsumption of everything into the economy. Degrowth rattles the logics of scarcity and substitutability that is foundational to economic thought. This is the first of a new joint venture into publishing between Active and Rupture Press.
– a small collection of essays confronting degrowth scholarship. While this collection advocates and supports degrowth, it does not hold back from chastising degrowth scholarship for ignoring militant land struggles in europe and beyond. This includes identifying how ideas of anarchist organisation and mutual aid are appropriated while disregarding the combative practices attached to them. These essays highlight important issues and academic traps that tend to disadvantage radical political thought and the struggles that surround them.

Herbalism and State Violence. Practical Herbal Medicine for Surviving State Repressione
State violence is a brutal reality for vast numbers of people. It is an experience that is racialised, classed and gendered in its design and application. It intersects with nearly all forms of oppression. Plant medicines can be a tool for solidarity and resistance; they can practically support us to survive and they can help us recover from trauma.
From herbal care for handcuff injuries to healing from incarceration, this book looks at examples from around the world of herbal solidarity in practice. Writing from her lived experience of incarceration, political organising and of running the Solidarity Apothecary, Nicole Rose explores some of the many connections between herbalism and struggles for liberation. Through recipes, remedies and stories from the herbal frontlines, she invites us to connect with our allies in struggle – the plants – to rest, to heal and to continue the fight.
